Here is a recap of a conversation I had with my son Joseph (4 yrs old) earlier today while we were out running errands.
Joseph: Dad, what do I have to do to be baptized
Me: You have to be a Christian
Joseph: What does that mean?
Me: You have to believe that Christ died for your sins, was buried, rose again and you have to realize that you ar a sinner and you cannot do anything about your sin problem. You have to trust in Jesus Christ. That is the Gospel.
Joseph: Dad, I believe the Gospel, but I am not a sinner.
Joseph is learning, God is working in his life. Please continue to pray for his salvation. He is asking some very good questions in some of our conversations.
